These terms govern your use of the Sereno Studio app. By using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. Who we are
The service is provided by:
launchd, a sole trader established in Italy.

Below, "we". You are "the user" or "you".
2. What the app does, and what it is not
Sereno Studio is a streaming library of yoga classes on video. You open the app, find a class and watch it. Each class is one continuous video, played in a video player.
It is not a pose timer and it is not a coaching product. It does not watch you practise, it does not correct your form, it does not count your repetitions, and nobody on our side reviews what you do.
2.1 Health disclaimer
Yoga is physical exercise and it is practised at the user's own risk. The user should stop if anything hurts, and should speak to a doctor before starting if they are pregnant, recovering from an injury or have any medical condition. The app gives no medical, diagnostic or therapeutic advice, is not a substitute for professional care, and is not a medical device.
Sereno Studio is a wellness product. It is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745, and it is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict, treat or alleviate any disease or clinical condition.
The classes are general instruction filmed in advance for a general audience. They are not adapted to you, because the app knows nothing about your body, your health or your history and never asks. It takes no account of clinical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, medication or any other personal circumstance.
You decide what is safe for you. Work within your own range, rest whenever you need to, and stop if anything hurts. If you are in any doubt about whether a class is appropriate for you, ask a healthcare professional before you practise it, not afterwards.
3. Who may use the app
You must be at least 16 years old, or use the app with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
The app is not available where its use would be prohibited by applicable law. It is published in Italian and English and is offered primarily to the Italian market.
4. No account, and what that means
The app does not ask you to register. There is no email, no password, no username and no social sign-in. On first launch the app creates an anonymous identity held on your device, and your practice records are attached to it.
This has a real cost, and you should know it before you start:
- Your history is not portable by signing in, because there is nothing to sign in to. If you move to a new phone, there is no account to log into that brings your practice history with it.
- Deleting the app can end it. The anonymous identity lives on the device. If it is lost, the records on the server can no longer be reached, by you or by us.
- We cannot identify you. If you write to us about your data, we have no reliable way to match you to it, so there are requests we will not be able to act on. This is set out in §9 of the privacy policy. This is a deliberate trade. You get to use the app without handing anyone your email address. The price is that your practice history is tied to one device and is not recoverable. We would rather tell you that plainly than sell the absence of accounts as a pure benefit.
5. Subscription, free trial and cancellation
5.1 There is no free tier
Every class requires an active subscription. The app is free to download, and there is a free trial, but there is no permanently free level of access and no individual class that can be watched without a subscription.
5.2 Price
The subscription costs 25 euro per month or 199 euro per year, with a 3-day free trial on both. These are the Italian store prices. In other territories Apple converts them to the local currency and applies local tax, so the amount you see may differ.
Prices, duration and conditions are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. What that screen states at the moment of purchase is what applies.
5.3 The free trial
The trial lasts 3 days and gives full access to the catalogue. It converts automatically into a paid subscription at the end of those 3 days unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you do not cancel in time, the first period is charged.
5.4 Billing and automatic renewal
The purchase is made through Apple and billed to your Apple ID. Payment, billing and renewal are handled by Apple under App Store terms. We do not receive or store your card details.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. The charge is applied to your Apple ID within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
5.5 How to cancel
Cancel in your Apple ID settings, under Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the current period or the free trial ends. You do not need to contact us and there is no penalty. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and you keep access until then.
5.6 Refunds
Refunds are requested from Apple, not from us. We do not take the payment, so we cannot return it. You can ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refuses a request you believe is well founded, write to us and we will do what is in our power.
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Articles 52 and following of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). By starting the subscription and obtaining immediate access to the classes you consent to immediate performance of the contract: under Article 59(1)(o) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is extinguished once the digital service has been fully supplied, subject to your express prior acceptance.
5.7 Price changes
We may change the price of the subscription. A change is notified with reasonable notice by Apple, which will ask you to accept the new price, and without acceptance the subscription simply does not renew. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
6. What you may and may not do
While your subscription is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream the classes for your own private, non-commercial practice, on the devices linked to your Apple ID.
You may not:
- download or store a class outside the app's own offline feature, where that feature is available;
- record, screen-capture, film or otherwise copy a class, in whole or in part;
- redistribute, upload, broadcast, stream or share a class with anyone else, by any means;
- perform or play a class in public, in a studio, a gym, a hotel, a workplace or any other shared setting;
- use a class in a lesson you teach, whether you charge for it or not;
- share your subscription credentials, your device access or a signed video URL with anyone;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with the access controls, the signed links or the expiry on them;
- scrape, crawl or systematically extract the catalogue, its video, its artwork or its metadata, with automated tools or otherwise;
- decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the app's source code, except to the extent the law does not permit this to be restricted;
- use the app for unlawful purposes or in breach of the rights of others.
7. The classes and who owns them
The video, the audio, the artwork, the text, the class descriptions and the catalogue itself, including its selection and arrangement, belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and related rights.
The instructors appearing in the classes are filmed under agreement. Their names and likenesses are used under those agreements and no right in them passes to you.
A subscription buys access, not ownership. It is a licence to watch, for as long as it lasts. It transfers no title in any class and no right to keep a copy. When the subscription ends, the access ends with it.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but we give no uptime guarantee and do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service may be suspended for maintenance or updates, and may be affected by causes outside our control, including failures of the third-party providers it depends on.
The catalogue changes. Classes are added and classes are withdrawn, for example when a licence ends or an instructor agreement changes. We do not undertake that any particular class, instructor or series will remain available, and the withdrawal of a class does not entitle anyone to a refund of any part of a subscription.
Playback needs a working internet connection and enough bandwidth to stream video. Quality is adjusted to the connection available. We are not responsible for your network, your data plan or any charge your operator applies.
9. Intellectual property
The name Sereno Studio, the app, its code, its design, its logo and related signs belong to us and are protected by law. Nothing in these terms transfers any right in them to you.
All rights not expressly granted in §6 are reserved.
10. Warranties and liability
10.1 Your statutory rights are untouched
As a consumer you have the legal guarantee of conformity under Articles 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights, which cannot be derogated from.
10.2 Limits
Beyond clause 10.1, and to the fullest extent permitted by Italian law, the service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it meets needs not described in these terms, that any particular class will suit you, or that the service will be free of interruption.
We are not liable for damage arising from: how you choose to practise, and any injury resulting from it, subject to clause 10.3; decisions taken in reliance on the classes rather than on professional advice; loss of practice data following uninstallation or a change of phone, as described in clause 4; the withdrawal of a class from the catalogue; temporary unavailability of the service; or the malfunction of third-party services.
Where liability may be limited, it is in any event capped at the amount you actually paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event that gave rise to it.
10.3 What is never excluded
No limitation in these terms applies to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, to wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to any other liability that the law does not permit to be limited. Your rights as a consumer under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) remain unaffected, and Article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code and Article 33 of the Consumer Code apply in full.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop at any time. Cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings as described in clause 5.5, delete your data in the app, and remove the app. You owe us nothing further.
We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a serious breach of clause 6, of a chargeback on a subscription payment, or of fraud or attempted fraud. We give prior notice unless the seriousness or urgency does not allow it. Where a suspension turns out not to be justified by a breach on your part, we refund the unused portion of the subscription.
We may discontinue the service as a whole on at least 30 days' notice inside the app, refunding the unused portion of the subscription.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are notified inside the app with at least 30 days' notice before they take effect, and the new text is published at this address with a new date and version number.
Continuing to use the app after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel the subscription before that date.
Non-material changes, such as editorial corrections or updates to legal references, take effect on publication.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law, and the courts of Italy have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer, the jurisdiction is that of the court of your place of residence or elected domicile, where located in Italy, under Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code. If you reside in another country, nothing in these terms deprives you of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence, nor of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules that apply there.
Online dispute resolution. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may also apply to a mediation body under Legislative Decree 28/2010.
14. Miscellaneous
Severability. If a clause of these terms is void or ineffective, the remaining clauses stay valid and the void clause is replaced by the closest lawful provision.
No waiver. Failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver of it, and no single waiver is a waiver of any later breach.
No assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the privacy policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the app.
